We’re excited to share that we’ve successfully completed the production of our short film “Akatambi - Before You Share.”
Through this project, our team leader had the opportunity to be part of the Love Facts Incubator Program by Media Challenge Initiative, a campaign focused on guiding communities to navigate information responsibly during this critical period.

“Before You Share” highlights the real impact of misinformation and the importance of pausing, verifying, and sharing responsibly before forwarding content online. This film is deeply rooted in everyday community experiences and conversations we see happening around us.
We can’t wait to release this campaign film and begin important conversations that empower our communities to stay informed, calm, and safe online.

At SC Impact Films, we believe stories can change lives. But with professional film production costs being very high, we asked ourselves: How can we still reach and inspire our generation without waiting for “big budgets”?

That’s how our program ImpactStorytelling was born. Using the power of mobile filmmaking, our team produces a short skit or film every week — raw, creative, and relevant.

We tackle real issues affecting young people and our communities:

Mental health

Exploitation

Teenage pregnancy

Choices & dignity

Depression
…and more.

We share these skits on TikTok and now Instagram, and the response has been humbling. The feedback reminds us that storytelling is not just entertainment — it’s a tool to spark conversations, challenge harmful norms, and give hope to a generation that needs it most.

We are truly amazed by the impact so far — and this is only the beginning.
