Family Fullness  - FAFU Family Fullness Uganda (FAFU) is a nationally registered non profit company by guarantee started under the proprietorship of parents and children.

Family Focus Uganda (FAFU) is a new NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) started under the proprietorship of parents and children majorly with the vision of becoming the best provider and source of family advice for harmonised socio-economic development. FAFU’s mission is to achieve harmony and socio-economic development through parent child dialogue that is aimed at curbing and narrowing the ever

increasing gap between parents and children especially the youth. FAFU will be implementing the Parent Child Dialogue (PCD) project first in Kiruhura district through Parent Child Clubs (PCCs) and then roll out to other districts and regions in Uganda. The purpose of the project is to promote Parent-Child Dialogue and equipping the youth and parents with entrepreneurial skills to start-up income generating projects for socio-economic development. This will be achieved through educating both parents and youth about the importance and benefits of family dialogue and harmony as well as training them to equip them with entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to start-up and manage income generating projects for self-sustainability. The major activities involved will include among others conducting door to door meetings with families, holding workshops, and seminars with participants through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) at parish and village levels, form Parent Child Clubs (PCCs) at Sub-county level, providing guidance and counselling services as well as helping and supporting the youth to plan for, start up and manage income generating projects. OBJECTIVES AND AIMS
The general aim and Objective of FAFU shall be:
To promote, foster and maintain links between individuals and families through re-unions, business and social functions, research programs, projects and other beneficial activities, so as to obtain family harmony for social economic development. (1)The aims of the Organisation shall be:
a) To undertake, provide and promote the deepest study, analysis and evaluation of various cultural/traditional values and practices that regulate family formation, activities, existence and relationships. b) To encourage the understanding, the impact and effects of the new and emerging trends on values and practices that regulate family relationships. (2)The Objectives shall be:
i) To initiate and promote the importance and value of deep understanding of family formation and management. ii) To sensitise and cause family members to appreciate the respective roles, responsibilities and entitlements of husbands, wives, children, workers, friends and relatives. iii) To encourage and promote settlement or resolution of frictions, disagreements and disharmonies in and concerning families or individual family members. iv) To promote and encourage the spirit of co-operation, unity, hard work and enterprise creation and sustenance at individual and family level. v) To facilitate the sharing of experiences and general exposure between individuals and families of various near and distant locations relating to cultural, social and economic developments. vi) To facilitate and support networking, close cooperation and fellowship among members;

vii) To promote and protect the values and reputation of families;
viii) To promote the interests of FAFU and to aid its development;
ix) To promote FAFU nationally, regionally and internationally for the benefit of families, FAFU and the wider community;
x) To assist FAFU in a number of ways including training;
xi) To encourage and promote members’ presence at FAFU functions;
xii) To promote and foster cooperation with other groups for the benefit of individual members and FAFU;
