We were glad to take part in the Community Green-Business Pitch Event held at the Innovation Village in Jinja. The event, hosted by Girls for Climate Action, brought together young women who have been shaping practical climate-smart solutions through the Greenpreneurship Academy.
We were inspired by the creativity and drive showcased by the graduates as they pitched innovations ranging from sustainable agriculture inputs and clean energy solutions to eco-fashion and circular economy ideas. These young women are proving that community-led action can spark real change in climate resilience and green enterprise development.
The event also created space for networking with development partners, investors, and ecosystem actors, strengthening pathways for mentorship, seed funding, and collaboration. We were honoured to stand alongside many passionate partners committed to supporting women-led climate solutions.
