Our ultimate goal is to establish an environment where Humans and Nature are in harmony. JEFGMI implements a number of development initiatives in conservation, health, and education, income generating projects for livelihood improvement, water and sanitation to community members adjacent to the Bwindi Impenetrable National park. To initiate climate and environmental sustainability and bring back the natural system of carbon sequestration, reduce pressure on flora and fauna, and create conducive microclimates for mountain gorilla community and other wildlife habitats in southwestern Uganda. Our Mission

We are thrilled to announce the completion of the five-stance VIP toilet facility at Bwashwa Community Nursery and Primary School!

This project would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our donors. Your kindness and support have made a huge difference in the lives of over 300 children. The new toilets will provide a safe, healthy, and dignified environment for our students to learn and grow.

The impact of this project will be felt for years to come, and we're grateful to our partners for making it happen. We're committed to continuing our work in improving education in Uganda.

Our next step: establishing a 3-classroom block to accommodate our growing number of students. We're seeking support to make this a reality.

We are thrilled to share some amazing news! Joint Efforts for Green Mountain Initiative has been awarded a grant of $5,000 from Lowell Rotary Club Michigan, to build more spring water projects in villages surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas!

This grant will support our efforts to provide safe and clean water to local communities, improving their health and well-being, while also promoting conservation of the forest and its incredible inhabitants, including the mountain gorillas.

We are grateful to Lowell Rotary Club for their continuous support of our water project, which is making a real difference in the lives of people and wildlife. Thank you for being part of this important work!

Urgent Call to Support Bwashwa Community School!

We're reaching out to our amazing community for help! 🙏 Our friends at Green Mountain Initiative have been providing meals to over 280 children at Bwashwa Community Nursery and Primary School, but our school's sanitation facilities are in dire need of upgrade. The existing pit latrine is old, full, and poses significant health risks to the children and staff.

Milestone Achieved!
We're thrilled to announce the completion of 3 out of 5 spring water wells in Mushorero, Kagyeme, Kayonza Sub County, thanks to the generous support of M St.J Way Charitable Trust via Wilmslow Wells For Africa

This incredible achievement aligns perfectly with our Joint Efforts for Green Mountain Initiative Uganda's objectives: providing clean water, promoting health, and empowering communities.
This spring water well will be benefit 47 households, each with an average of 7 family members, bringing clean water and a better life to approximately 329 individuals in the Mushorero community while sustainably conserving the Bwindi forest

The impact of this project will be life-changing. With access to clean water, our beneficiaries will experience improved health, reduced water-borne diseases, and enhanced livelihoods. Children will have more time for education, and families will have increased economic opportunities. The burden of water collection will be lifted, and communities will be empowered to thrive. We're deeply grateful for the trust and support of M St.J Way Charitable Trust and WIMLSOW Wells For Africa UK in making this vision a reality.

To achieve global economic development, conservation efforts and peace. We must achieve education for all first and technology.

The video clip shows one of the rural schools in bwashwa community kanungu district southwestern Uganda supported by Joint Efforts for Green Mountain Initiative Uganda since 2022 January. Our charity organization has been on her Frontline to make sure children have food to eat with support from our global friends. We say thank you.

Wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to my amazing friends from Germany for their incredible support in helping us build a kitchen for the vulnerable children at Bwashwa Community Nursery and Primary School! 🍲❤️ Your generosity will bring warmth and nourishment to these precious kids. 🍴 We are left with a few work to have it completed
