Water is life, but access to it isn’t always equal. Women and girls often bear the burden of collecting water, a challenge that is worsened by climate change. Droughts, floods, and changing rainfall patterns make water scarce and unsafe, hitting women and girls the hardest.
This World Water Day, let’s empower women and girls by:
1. Ensuring safe and accessible water sources
2. Promoting women’s leadership in climate-resilient water management

We convened district and national inception meetings for the IWPS Project, bringing together CSOs and key district stakeholders to align on strengthening women- and youth-led early warning and response mechanisms for more peaceful and resilient communities.
