​5 years of Christ In Us Church!

​When my Stephen Franklyn Kasozi and I first stepped out on this journey, we never could have anticipated just how tender, stretching, and beautiful it would be.

​Pastoral leadership certainly brings its bittersweet moments, it requires deep sacrifice, resilience and walking with people through their hardest seasons. But there is nothing more rewarding than seeing lives touched, watching people come to know Christ, and seeing them grow and flourish in faith.

​We look back at the past five years in awe of God’s goodness and the community He has built. All glory belongs to Him for His unfailing grace and faithfulness! 🙏❤️

When you have walked through seasons of rejection, solitude, and painful trial while keeping your faith intact, your story does not end in the shadows. The very places where you were overlooked, dismissed, or broken down are the exact places where God is preparing to elevate you. He is building a firm, unshakeable platform in your life—not for human pride, but as a living testament to His restoration, grace, and power.
Your steadfast trust during the hardest nights has not gone unnoticed. Every tear, every silent prayer, and every quiet act of endurance has been preparing you for the breakthrough ahead. The heavy atmosphere of waiting is shifting into a season of joy, honor, and renewal.
Hold your head high and prepare your heart to celebrate. The winter of struggle is passing, the song of your season is changing, and it is time for you to step into the light and dance to the rhythm of God’s redemptive victory in your life.

There is something deeply special about doing life together in genuine Christian community. ❤️

At Christ In Us Church , being part of the wider House Church family across Uganda and globally, has shown us what fellowship is truly meant to be. Our house church meetings are always something to anticipate. It is not just a service, but a living room full of family where we share openly, laugh, learn, get equipped, and break bread together around the table.

Earlier this month, Uganda was beautifully represented in South Africa by our national lead, Bishop John Kasiita , together with our East African lead, Daeho Yu ; joining hands with our wider continental House Church family.

Scrolling through these photos hit me with such a wave of warmth and pure nostalgia. Seeing these radiant faces together, learning and bonding, made me feel as if I were standing right there in the room with everyone. That is the beauty of this family: distance never dilutes the connection. When our brothers and sisters gather, your heart is right there celebrating alongside them.

House church is more than a gathering. It is doing life together, heart to heart.

Continuing When the Feeling Fades

Jesus said, “If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples” (John 8:31). Notice what He did not say. He didn’t say, “If you had a powerful experience,” or “If you prayed a prayer once,” or “If your life is easy and blessed, you are truly My disciples.” The mark He chose was this: continuing. Remaining. Staying put in His word when the novelty wears off and life gets ordinary or painful. True discipleship is less like fireworks and more like a furnace that stays lit through the long night.

This is why Scripture so often connects blessing with perseverance in God’s word. “This Book of the Law must not depart from your mouth; you are to recite it day and night, so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in all you do” (Joshua 1:8). The blessing is not in owning a Bible but in living a Bible-shaped life. When the spiritual “high” has faded and you still open the Word, still seek to obey, still repent when you fail—that is the quiet, powerful evidence that you are His.

What a way to close out the 3rd Annual House Church Ministry Pastors Seminar!

​For five days, over 27 pastors from different regions of Uganda left their homes, their churches, and their comfort to sit and be trained in House Church Ministry, the way our Lord Jesus Christ intended church to be. And what a climax it was.
​It is one thing to present truth; it is another entirely when leaders pause and ask questions that touch the very core of their walk, their battles, and their calling.
That openness is what made our Q&A session so transformative. Pastors didn’t just listen, they opened their hearts, confronted the exhaustion of “church as usual,” and caught fresh fire to build church God’s way.
​The leaders in attendance didn’t merely receive theory they experienced the heartbeat of house church ministry. Moving beyond abstract concepts to hands-on training, we walked through both the “why” and the “how” of restoring the New Testament pattern: the way the early believers gathered, grew, and multiplied.
​This gathering was never a one-person effort. Leaders gathered from Northern, Western, Central, and Eastern Uganda, a powerful testament to the regional pastors who mobilized their peers for this divine appointment.

​- Our Q&A Panel—Dr. Sarah Kwagala Kasozi , Pastor Stephen Franklyn Kasozi, and Bishop John Kasiita for guiding candid, practical, and spirit-led discussions.
​- The House Church Ministry Uganda Team, for their tireless coordination, logistical excellence, and steadfast prayer covering.
​Our Regional Mobilizers, whose dedication brought leaders together from different corners of the nation.

​We crowned the seminar with a powerful commitment service, as pastors stood with renewed conviction to return to their God-ordained territories and plant vibrant house churches.
​You cannot achieve the right harvest without the right foundation. The beloved pastors carried back to their respective churches both the practical tools and the spiritual fire. We believe God is doing marvelous things, and we look forward with great expectation as healthy, New Testament churches rise and flourish across Uganda.
​It is always a blessing to serve. It is an equal blessing to be served.

Sunday was a beautiful day filled with joy, powerful testimonies, and heartfelt praise to God. Our dear mothers and mothers‑to‑be blessed us with a wonderful presentation that truly warmed our hearts.
We were also deeply enriched by a timely and life‑shaping teaching from Apostle Ashey Wandera on praying with specifics , a key to receiving answered prayers. It was a reminder that God delights in clarity, faith, and intentionality when we come before Him.
