NEEM growers cooperative SACCO is a micro credit project operating in Kayanja village initiated by the NEEM Growers Cooperative grouops and formed by the people who grow and use neem tree as medicine. The growing of neem trees was introduced by Juna Amagara Ministries through their The Neem Initiative Project with the vision to promoting proven natural processes for the reduction of malaria cases

Trough the TNI Kayanja people were trained to become self reliable through suiting sustainable entrepreneurship development. In 2013 we able to purchase 2 acre land, working together raised money saved and supported our families. And also using neem in treating malaria which was daily expenditure we are able to save up to approximately 60% of our daily income. In 2014 we started a saving and credit society among our selves. We pull our monthly savings and borrow it to one person on a very small interest. on June 2014 we registered a total of 123 individual members and 5 groups and together formed the NEEM Growers cooperative SACCO to connect a grass root woman to development through enhancing women’s participation in income generating activities along side with men for improved income. MISSION
To empower women and vulnerable families especially women headed, who live on less than $1 income per day with entrepreneurship skills and strengthening them with small interest loans to enable them to develop income generating enterprises and to use the skills they already posses to expand their business, equipping them for lifting themselves out of poverty. To increase the income level of vulnerable families (women headed) from 5% to at least 15%. ii. To improve the entrepreneur skills among members through training programs
iii. To provide educational programs on savings, loans and other financial services. iv. To increase a saving culture among members for sustainable development
v. To strengthen entrepreneurs with loans for improved business. The groups and individuals have pulled their own savings which they loan to each other thus lifting each others' visionary projects. Activities
1. Grouping for agriculture and other sustainable entrepreneurship extension.
2. Strengthen the producers with producer loans in form of in puts
3. Provide market for agricultural produce and other products by linking producers to the buyers
3. Help people to set sustainable income generating projects for them selves
5. Provide saving extension programs for groups and individuals as well as credit services
