Geschichte in der good luck very in to ist for who repeatedly brought donations to us.

With every donation, we can save lives. Through teaching children how to swim, we establish future generations who will not suffer unnecessary water accidents.

And a big thanks goes out to our swimmingteacher who taught already more than 1500 children how to swim and is keeping up the spirit every saturday. Thanks for your dedication!

Yesterday's swimming lessons took part in Kyabahinga & Rodgers, our swimming teacher, was fully busy teaching around 40 children how to swim.

Every Saturday, we offer swimming lessons for children for free - from 10am to 12am, we provide the children with swimming suits and swimming helpers and jump into the water to learn basic swimming techniques with a big impact! When we teach children how to swim, we aim to make the future generations able to reduce water accidents! Our swimming lessons are saving lives!

Die Organisation hat zum Ziel die konkreten Lebensbedingungen der Kinder und Jugendlichen rund um den Lake Bunyonyi vor allem durch niedrigschwellige und kostenfreie Selbsthilfe-Angebote zu verbessern.

Aufwachsen in Uganda:

Neben Niger hat Uganda die jüngste Bevölkerung weltweit, fast die Hälfte der Einwohnerinnen und Einwohner sind jünger als 15 Jahre - eine immense Herausforderung für das Land. Kinder in Uganda leben mit ihren Familien in Häusern, die meistens weder Strom noch fließendes Wasser haben. Ein Drittel der Kinder zwischen 5 und 14 Jahren geht nicht zur Schule - sie arbeiten, um ihre Familien zu unterstützen.

Lake Bunyonyi: Im ganzen Distrikt gibt es 48 Schulen, so dass die meisten Zugang zum Unterricht haben. Aber nicht alle Familien können ihre Kinder dorthin schicken - sie sind angewiesen auf ihre Hilfe und Mitarbeit,. Manche von ihnen sitzen Tag für Tag in den Steinbrüchen, an denen man vorbeifährt, wenn man von Kabale Town zur Hafenstadt Rotinda fährt. Andere tragen Säcke mit geernteten Lebensmitteln zum nächstgelegenen Markt oder arbeiten auf dem Feld.
