Brethren in Christ Youth Association is a SACCO [saving and credit co-operative] based in Jinja Town kutch road it was championed by a group of 5 youths who had a common goal and objective to share.It was a cash round which later developed into a SACCO Brethren in Christ Youth Association is now composed of 10 competent savers who are on a cash round cycle and 10 competent savers who are not on
cash round but saving with the SACCO and buying shares with in the SACCO awaiting for their interests and dividends after a period of one year while also getting loans from the SACCO to boost their businesses. Mission: To mobilize harness and effect the utilization of the resources we acquired in the Association. Vision: To become self employed so as to eradicate poverty in our communities. Objectives: To become self -sustaining so as to avoid dependency syndrome .2. To eradicate poverty amongst the Youths.Activities of Brethren in Christ Youth Association. Saving , Disbursement of credit to qualified personnel, yet to venture into other projects that are a viable . The association is looking forward to recruit more members who are voluntarily willing to save with the SACCO and willing to buy shares to become full members of the Association. membership fees is 20,000 one share is at 10,000 then minimum saving balance is 20,000 per month not below that .
