_“But wisdom is shown to be right by the lives of those who follow it.”_
‭‭Luke‬ ‭7:35‬ ‭NLT‬‬

🇸🇸All praise and honour are the Lord’s. We are thankful for another wonderful day. We have another early preaching appointment at YTTC for their morning devotion. We woke up at 4:50am and prayed till 6:00am and got ready to head out.

🇸🇸We made it on time and joined the worship. The team was introduced and in 10 minutes, I preached on “Teachers are Gifts from Christ Jesus (Ephesians 4:11)” and believing (Christian) teachers must recognise that to keep them awake in the storms (issues with young people/those they’re sent out to teach) around them. The devotion ended joyfully with a group photograph.

🇸🇸We continued home after 7:30am and had our morning devotion from 8:00-9:00am. Thomas facilitated the DBS and we discovered Romans 10:1-5 together. We had breakfast afterwards and got ready to go out again. At 10:30am, Thomas, Ola and Tony went for the prison outreach and at 11:30am, me, Pr Anthony and Samuel headed to the Yei Day Secondary School, YDSS for the school outreach.

🇸🇸By 2:00pm we all got back to base. The prison team, ministering with DBS and discovering Luke 7:35-50 and a Q&A afterwards, returned with a report on 10 inmates believing in the Lord Jesus as their Saviour. The school team also came back with a news on 17 young people surrendering to the Lord Jesus. Pr. Anthony preached on “True Identity (2 Corinthians 5:17)”.

🇸🇸We had a short rest after lunch and went out again at 3:50pm to meet with the YTTC student leaders from 4:00-5:00pm. Fifteen (15) of them were present on our arrival. Thomas led a 30 minute talk on leadership and I came in for the second half of the hour introducing Excellent Youth Outreach, EYO in full scope—history, vision, mission, statement of faith, statement of purpose, international missions objectives, continental/ international branches and impacts, etc. The outcome of the meeting went beyond our expectations—the guys were instantly interested in EYO starting on their campus. It was an answer to our and your prayers!

🇸🇸We continued into town to visit a family (related to Pr. Anthony) and to pray with them. We were refreshed with some local black coffee before we proceeded home after sunset. We had our leadership meeting (for at least an hour), dinner (a bit after 8:00pm) and had our general debriefing/meeting to addressing some pressing concerns of the team until 9:47. Praise God!

🇸🇸We finished the day with a two hour prophetic praise and worship and prayer from 9:47pm-12:00midnight! What a day it was!

_“May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.”_
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

🇸🇸The early morning preaching appointment today is similar to yesterday’s. We woke up at 5:00am to pray for an hour into our activities of the day and got ready for the ministration at Yei Teachers Training College (YTTC).

🇸🇸We got to the school by 6:50am to joined the morning devotion. The team was introduced and we were giving the opportunity to lead a 7 minute praise. Ola came in right after that with a
10 minute exaltation on “Thy Kingdom Come (Matthew 6:10; Romans 14:10”, an encouraging message for the gathering of at least 45 students and 6 staff.

🇸🇸We joined our host church’s bible study and taught Discovery Bible Study skills, DBS in that and we discovered John 17:1-5 as a practical study activity. Seventeen (17) people joined in and most of them felt DBS is pretty simple but also practical to use for discipleship. One person shared she knew about DBS and had practiced it before. Probably she came in to be reminded to relaunch it in her disciple-making plans. We ended the meeting by 6:20pm.

🇸🇸We spent some time catching up ahead of

Prayer
Please pray:

*1. For the YTTC community. They’re surviving the aftermath of the conflict. The college resumed academic activities not too long ago and they need God’s strength to carry on.*

*2. For our host and partner churches that they may continue to raise obedient disciples who make obedient disciples, as we equipped them with what the Lord has blessed and gifted us with.*

Thank you for praying and supporting. 🙏🏾🇸🇸❤️✝️

_“But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king. He asked the chief of staff for permission not to eat these unacceptable foods.”_
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

🇸🇸We made it to the school on time and we had a short time with the principal for Yei Vocational Training Centre (just to introduce the team) before heading to the assembly hall to join the gathering. After Pr Anthony introduced the team to the students, I stepped in with a short message on “Drawing the lines to stay on God’s side”. Daniel 1:1-14. Pr Anthony came back to make the altar call and Ola finished it by leading the 18 Young people who believed in the Lord in prayer. The assembly ended with a photograph with the staff and few of the students.

Prayer
Please pray:

*1. For the 18 people at YVTC who came to faith in the Lord that their faith may grow rapidly.*

*2. For the young people who came for the conference that they may truly manifest the spiritual gifts they so desire.*

Thank you very much for praying and supporting 🇸🇸❤️✝️🙏🏾
