At the See Me Safe Space, children with complex disabilities receive the therapy, medication, care, and support they need to regain their strength and independence.

Gift is one of them. There was a time when she was unable to stand or walk, but through consistent therapy and care, she is now able to stand and take steps on her own.

Every step she takes is a powerful reminder that healing takes time, patience, and dedication. What may look like a small movement is, in reality, a tremendous victory built through countless hours of therapy, courage, and determination.

This is what hope looks like—one slow, steady step at a time. 🌱💙

Women’s rights violations and domestic violence remain serious challenges faced by many women, especially those living in rural and underserved communities.

At SustainMe, we believe every woman deserves to live with dignity, safety, freedom, and equal rights. Through women’s rights advocacy and community awareness, we work to create spaces where women can understand their rights, speak out against abuse, challenge harmful practices, and seek support when their rights are violated.

Every woman deserves to be heard. Every woman deserves to be respected. Every woman deserves to live free from violence, discrimination, and abuse.

Together, we can build communities where women’s rights are respected, protected, and upheld.

For years, Getrude, a 60-year-old grocery trader, worked tirelessly to support her family through her small business. However, a lack of capital gradually caused her business to decline, reducing her stock, customers, and income until she almost lost hope.

Through SustainMe's Women Empowerment Programme, Getrude received business management training and a seed grant that renewed her confidence and gave her the opportunity to rebuild her business.

Today, she is restocking her shop, attracting more customers, and looking to the future with renewed determination.

Getrude's journey is a reminder that when women are equipped with skills, knowledge, and access to resources, they can rebuild their livelihoods, strengthen their families, and create lasting change in their communities.

At SustainMe, we believe that every child deserves the chance to learn, imagine, and dream through books, regardless of their location. That is why we deliver books through Reading on the Wheel—an outreach initiative that takes books directly to children in hard-to-reach communities using a motorcycle.

Each visit is more than just a reading session. It is an opportunity to inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, strengthen literacy, and remind every child that their dreams matter. Seeing children eagerly turn the pages of a book, read aloud, ask questions, and share stories with one another is a powerful reminder of the life-changing impact that access to education can have.

When we look at Kevina's smile today, we see more than happiness—we see courage, resilience, and hope.

Living with a disability comes with many challenges, especially for children in rural communities where access to healthcare, therapy, and essential support is often limited. But every child deserves the opportunity to grow up feeling loved, valued, and cared for.

Through SustainMe's Children Living with Disabilities Programme, Kevina is receiving the care she needs to improve her health and wellbeing. From medical support and therapy to nutritious meals and regular follow-up, each step is helping her live a healthier and more joyful life.

Her journey reminds us that when a community comes together, lives can be transformed. A little support can bring comfort to a child, strength to a family, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.

There are many more children like Kevina who are still waiting for the care they deserve. Together, we can ensure they are not forgotten.
