“ FooTbAlL AcTioN aT X-SUBA”

Watch the girls play with fun, confidence, and skill. This is what happens when girls are given the space to play with fairness, as they lead on the pitch.

Every pass, every goal, every cheer is a step forward for girls’ football in Uganda. Pride doesn’t even cover it. This is the future of sport.

X-SUBA Sport4Development Uganda is thrilled to celebrate our impactful work in the Walukuba-Masese community!

We’ve been playing games from the Play Everyday Curriculum with amazing kids, mixing fun activities like Mingle Mingle, netball sessions, and coach-led training.

Our efforts are sparking big changes:
- More kids, especially girls, are getting involved in sports, building teamwork & life skills.
- The community is uniting, fostering local pride & a sense of belonging for everyone, including people with disabilities.
- Health & lifestyles are improving, giving youth positive alternatives to crime.
- Girls are gaining confidence & leadership skills through sports.
*- We’ve raised awareness with peer educators & community clubs, supporting kids with disabilities through adaptive sports.

Big shoutout to our passionate coaches and the vibrant youth who make every moment a win! We’re tagging to celebrate our shared impact. -SUBA

“XSUBA’s Back2School Game Play Day was a resounding success last Saturday.

We played a lot of fun games that included football, racing games, tag of war, bottle filling, rope skipping, etc as well as many board games like, chess, cards, draft, scrabble, omweso, snakes and ladders.

The event fostered connections and promoted engagement among the youth as they prepared to report back to school. The theme of the day was “reigniting passion for education”. The games, speeches and donations made were to emphasize and remind all our school going children about the importance of education and the need to remain in school in a region grappling with high school drop out levels.

Gratitude to all participants and contributors for making it a memorable experience that is and 🙏
