WOICO was founded in 2007 by Wanyana Susan to respond and arise to the challenges of widows, youth and the orphans, like social, economical
challenges, reproductive health awareness, leadership and advocacy, HIV/AIDS awareness,
Capacity Building at grass root levels, formal Education for children and all
well being for human life. The organization’s main aim is to enhance the capacity of widows,

youth and orphans and support their efforts towards their
development, nutrition and health. The organization has a special
interest in education of the orphans and plight of the widows as they are not
susceptible to vulnerability, psychologically, physically, socially and
economically well. About organization name’s clients
WIOCO works with widows of all ages, youth and children found in there homes. Emphasis is put on clients in the rural areas who can not easily access resources and face difficulties in meeting there basic needs of life including health, education food clothing and so much more. WOICO strives to empower these people to become self reliant and be able to live a better life
