This was our engagement with Kigulu Chiefdom Council members on the documented Kisoga Values. The participants through the Deputy Katuukiro Mr David Batema appreciated the efforts of Crc Jinja in documenting, preserving and promotion of Kisoga culture.

The Program Officer in charge of Functional Adult Literacy Program ( Allan Kaswabuli) training the FAL learners of Bunafu in crafts making as a source of income. This time he was focusing on basketry. This Program is fully funded by eRko Slovakia to improve livelihood in Ikumbya and Bukooma Subcounties of Luuka District in Uganda.

THE LIBRARY
Community libraries play a vital role in the development of societies. They are learning centers, support literacy and education, help in promoting new ideas, creativity and innovation.

A community can only benefit from a library when business people use its resources to make wise business decisions, employees use it to improve job skills, the disadvantaged use it to break the cycle of poverty, agriculturalist use it to improve their out puts, medical workers use it to improve the health of community members, environmentalists use it to combat the prevailing environmental challenges, leaders use it to improve their leadership skills and address the challenges of the society with an in depth and clear understanding of the problems.

Our library gives you the opportunity to experience new ideas, get lost in wonderful stories, access educational resources, and get in touch with preserved history.

We are located in Jinja City, plot 5, Nile garden.
We are open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
