Our Brother Needs Us Now

Yesterday, Tawfik Bagalana, a dedicated member of Rise A Child Foundation, was involved in a serious car accident.

By God’s grace, he survived, but he sustained injuries and is currently under close medical observation. During the accident his phone was stolen, leaving him without contacts and disconnected from many friends and supporters.

For years, Tawfik has been a strong pillar for our orphanage, helping connect supporters, assisting the children, and serving the community with kindness and dedication.

Today, he needs the same support he has always given to others.

We are calling upon our friends, sponsors, and community members to help in any way possible:
Pray for his recovery
Visit and encourage him
Support him financially during this difficult time

Every act of kindness will help him recover and regain strength.

Today at Rise a Child Foundation, during our outreach program, we had the privilege of meeting Rahim Mutebi’s mother — a strong and loving woman who reached out to us in hopes of getting support for her son.

Rahim Mutebi is a brave young boy living with Cerebral Palsy, a group of disorders that affect movement, balance, and coordination. Due to his condition, Rahim is unable to move independently. As he has grown older, it has become increasingly difficult for his mother to carry and move with him, especially over longer distances.

Recognizing the immense challenge she was facing, Rahim’s mother turned to us for assistance. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Mrs. Jo Price, we were able to provide Rahim with a brand new wheelchair — a life-changing gift that was delivered to him just yesterday.

The joy and gratitude on both Rahim’s and his mother’s faces were truly heartwarming. This wheelchair means more than just mobility — it symbolizes freedom, dignity, and hope.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Jo Price for her kind and compassionate support. Your generosity has made a real difference in Rahim’s life and brought renewed strength to his family.
