During the 16 Days of Activism, let's remember the importance of safety not just in our homes and communities but also in our online spaces. Digital violence—like harassment, cyberstalking, bullying, and the sharing of abusive images—affects countless women and girls every day, and it's something we can all help prevent.

Technology should be a source of empowerment, learning, and connection—never a tool for intimidation or silence. By speaking out, supporting survivors, and holding those who spread harm accountable, we can create a safer digital environment for everyone.

Every woman and girl deserves to have their voice heard and to feel safe, both online and offline. Let’s come together to champion dignity, respect, and justice.

As part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, R**e Hurts Foundation is sharing practical actions that individuals, communities, and institutions can take to prevent violence and support survivors.

These flyers are a call to action.
A call to awareness.
A call to responsibility.

Let’s work together to build a Uganda where women and girls are safe, respected, and protected.

December 1st marks a powerful reminder for us all—it's a day to shine a light on the stigma faced by people living with HIV/AIDS and those affected by it. Remember, HIV remains a global challenge, and together, we all share the responsibility to make a difference. Let’s work towards creating accepting and supportive spaces where this issue can be eradicated entirely, because with collective effort, it truly is possible.

In loving memory of Auntie Jane, who lovingly served as our basket-weaving trainer.
Auntie Jane, we honour you for the everlasting memories, skills, and confidence you imparted to the women and girls you trained. Your hands shaped more than baskets—you shaped futures.

This project was proudly supported by Alongside Hope and shared during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, reminding us that empowering women and girls is a lifelong legacy.

Rest in power, Auntie Jane. 🧡💜
