This young lady is working so hard at her studies!
What we love most about this picture is that she is healthy and strong. Every school day she receives two authentic Ugandan meals that fill her belly and allow her to concentrate.

Some personal thoughts as a co-founder of Hope Restored from the perspective of living in the U.S. The U.S. is not a perfect place to live - but I am grateful for the medical care I’ve been able to receive when I’ve needed it. I’m grateful for the medical care my family and friends are able to receive.

Hope Restored Medical Clinic in Nakaseeta, Uganda provides medical care to their community around the clock - but they can’t do it without people like you and I, those willing to give $25, $50, $100/month - whatever is feasible for them. A pond just like this was a primary water source for families in Nakaseeta.
Stagnant. Unsafe. A daily risk to health — especially for children. Many adults and children experienced parasitic infections on a regular basis due to drinking this water and had no access to medical care.

Today, that same village has access to clean water and medical care through the Hope Restored Medical Clinic.

This transformation didn’t happen overnight — and it didn’t happen alone.
It happened because people chose to show up, to give, to pray, and to believe that change was possible.

In Uganda, many children complete primary school—but their education often ends there. Secondary school requires tuition, uniforms, books, and exam fees that many families simply cannot afford.

Yet continuing education changes everything. It opens doors to opportunity, confidence, and long-term hope—not just for one student, but for entire families and communities.
