It is with a very heavy heart I share the loss of one of our sponsored students. Alaisha lost her battle with leukemia yesterday and was laid to rest today.
This family was the first to receive school sponsorship through the organization before it was even official with the help of my friend Paul. I have watched these kids grow since 2015. We raised funds to support school fees, food and household needs as they arose and also built a house and new pit latrene in 2018. We have been able to continue to support this family through our friend Brian.
Alaisha was a very bright girl and was spoken highly of by all of her teachers. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Please pray for her family in this very difficult time.
