It begun in 2014 August and currently working as a community Based Organization (CBO) that aims at educating vulnerable children and disadvantaged children, those addicted to drugs and girls indulging into prostitution. Busoga region which is 36% among children aged 10 and above years and also Busoga region has recorded the worst PLE performance countrywide in the last 4 years that is from 2013 to 2016. This has been resulted by the high poverty rates in the region which makes it obvious that the struggle for survival in most areas of Jinja is hardened where; most of the children are lured into prostitution by friends at a tender age out of dire need for money to cater for their families. Many of these girls are heads of households as a result of a chain of social problems like child neglect, death of parents, alcoholism and domestic violence. In addition, lack of sustainable opportunities for education is also identified as a key drive to prostitution among young girls and drug addiction among young boys. We are Currently concentrating on educating children in due time will embark on dealing with children who are addicted to drugs and young girls who into prostitution. A Number of 30 Children are recruited, Its expected that this project will enhance increased number of vulnerable and disadvantaged children able to live in sustainable life with quality education available to their as well as building their mental capacity. The need for this project is to put illiteracy, drug addiction and prostitution among children by building their mental asset into proficient individuals. the project looks forward to have educated children who have transformed into responsible individuals and citizens with changed mindset that are capable of transforming others.
