Vipawa Children's Art Museum is a Christian Non Governmental Organization Bringing Children's Art to Life, Securing a Rich Heritage for African Cultures.

An Educational, Cultural and Local Destination. The Museum is passionate about creating experiences through arts for children's self expressions and creative thinking; in supporting child development and growth through exploring, discovery, curiosity and play driven to be African's pioneer Children' Art Museum. We believe creative thinking is a gift all children are gifted with; in shaping their abilities and a and a wealth of their expressions through performing, literacy and visual arts. As children relate with different art forms they gain passion for exploring, discovering, being curious and able to play as they create their world each in its uniqueness. Our commitment is to offer interactive learning experiences through arts that ignite inspiration through our exhibits, programs, collections and research with African communities. We aim to become a recognized leader among their world's most respected, admirable, trusted and renown Children's Art Museum.

Serving children at out outreach programs comes with learning daily. Children at Omoana share their art from our interactive learning that is supporting them appreciate that each of them carries a uniqueness given by God to influence their world and community.

In 2015, UNESCO produced a very useful Recommendation concerning the Protection and Promotion of Museums and Collections, their Diversity and their Role in Society. This highlights the strong connections between museums and sustainable development.

Art Therapy Healing for Children.

Art a form of therapy to children in the paediatrics enables children reconnect with hands on, through the therapy children are able to reflect on themes that draw them away from the environment and stress of sickness.
In the same appreciation that they will be able to leave hospital the most sounding though of every child on recovery and under medication, to go home.
Art [email protected] extend through visualization of themes that remind each children of their potential beyond the sickness is re assuring to have children reflect at always.

Humbling to serve at the Jinja Regional Referral Hospital Paediatric and to walk the journey of healing and recovery supported by the doctors, Nurses and sisters at the Paediatrics.

Beautiful family moments at the kid's Exhibition as Family takes lead in appreciating the child's abilities and gifts is a bonding tool and inspiring from a child's Creative path.

Through engaging family around children's creative paths, they build confidence in everything they learn during the interactive learning experiences facilitated at the Vipawa Children's Art Museum .

In the long run much of the return on imagination is appreciated through the children to families and extended to communities. Parents become spokespersons for the children's creative development.
