In December of 2016, Balikowa Musa and Dr Faye G Hanshew started an orphanage called Tree of life orphanage, it is now 8years in operation ,I remember when I talked with Dr Faye I remember it was late hours but she was capative and she accepted to work with us she is the one who gave the name of the orphanage" Tree of life orphanage "we started with 5children but children continue increasing now we have 25children .

Despite her own plans, God led Dr. Faye to start helping and donating for the orphanage ,Dr Faye desire to see lives transformed, relationships restored, and communities changed through the truth of Jesus Christ.

While Tree of life orphanage has lived out its mission through a variety of different programs and outreaches over the years, our mission to make disciples of Jesus through authentic relationships, excellent education, and strengthened communities remains the same. by the people and the culture.we have reached on many achievements since we started .we got a land and now we are constructing our own permanent home and it still under construction ,we have not yet roofed it and we continuing looking for donation to roof it .

Tree of life orphanage is fully registered with the government of Uganda and we have certificate of registration by the government. We can't operate here such a big organization without registering with the government. This certificate is given for only a year and when it expire you go back to the government officials and they look into your records and see if it can be renewed for another year.
