The mission of AFRICAN COMMUNITY BASED INITIATIVE shall be to achieve transformation through self -help Initiatives in rural communities of Uganda, and empowering the youth to achieve their full potential African community Based Initiative is non-governmental, non-political, non-profit organization and is recognized in many rural communities of Uganda for its efficiency in addressing the critical

needs of the most vulnerable community members; Diseases, clean water supply, health, human rights, education, women and children’s welfare. African Community Based Initiative (ACOBI) has been operating as a CBO (community based organization) since 2008 in rural communities of Fort Portal Uganda, and has now acquired NGO status (Non-Government organization) for better service delivery to individuals in need and is registered with the National NGO Board of Uganda (No. 12138). ACOBI also does a step-by step update about on-going projects to our donors, partners and stakeholders, by showing them recent photos and videos about on-going projects, and always have access to the annual financial audited reports on our website.
