Shifting the focus from limitations to abilities.

At Odur Foundation, we are challenging the myth that disabilities equate to inability.

Through our 'Keep a girl in school project,' we provide education opportunities to underprivileged but bright young girls.

Here is one of our beneficiaries - Kawala Shirat, a primary four pupil at Bishop Willis Demonstration School in Iganga.

She's blind but wants to become a medical doctor.

Together with our dear partners - Modern Group of Companies and Liquid Intelligent Technologies, we shall walk with her along this journey to see that she realises her dream.

KEEP A GIRL IN SCHOOL PROJECT

Schools Visit:

Today, we successfully completed our two-day school visits - as we checked on our beneficiaries studying at; Waitambogwe SS, St.Francis Lukone, Hillside SS Mayuge, Busoga SS, St. Andrews Wabulungu, and St. Joseph Nakanyonyi.

Sole purpose of the tour was to interact with, assess, and also follow up on our students at the aforementioned schools.

Today, we had a productive interaction with the teachers of, and our students at
Kaliro High School, Bishop Willis Demonstration School, and Joy Dominion.

Our two day school visits will continue on Tuesday (tomorrow), with visits to; Waitambogwe SS, St.Francis Lukone, Hillside SS Mayuge, Busoga SS, St. Andrews Wabulungu, and St. Joseph Nakanyonyi in the line.

Courtesy visits to our nine partner schools next week for a follow-up on our students before the end of term three.

We have 25 students across all the schools, with support from Liquid Intellegent Technologies Uganda, Modern Group of Companies, and Zydus.
