My name is Mumbya, the Director of Jinja Children’s Home. First of all, I want to thank all of you who have given so generously. Your support with monthly donations,providing school project has helped us keep our programs running. We appreciate you so much. Thank you for standing with us in everything we are doing.As I speak today on this Sunday, we have just finished our service. I want to wish you a blessed Sunday and happy service to everyone. As you pray today, please remember us in your prayers.We pray that the kids stay healthy and strong so we can meet all the requirements they need. URGENT FUNDRAISING APPEAL – LAND FOR JINJA CHILDREN’S HOME SCHOOL*

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Jinja Children’s Home! We are launching a fundraising campaign to help us purchase land for our school.

Right now, our children are studying in wooden classrooms built on this land. This is where they learn and grow each day, but we do not yet own it. Our goal is to raise *78,000,000 Ugandan Shillings (∼$20,800 USD)* to secure the land permanently for the children.

*Progress so far:*
- We have already raised *28,000,000 UGX (∼$7,450 USD)* and have paid this to the land seller.
- We still need *50,000,000 UGX (∼$13,350 USD)* to complete the payment.

We have just *one month* left to complete the payment and ensure the land is officially owned by Jinja Children’s Home. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us closer to giving these children a secure place to learn.

I hope you are doing well. I wanted to share some exciting news from Jinja Children’s Home.
The entire family here has come together and decided to focus our efforts on raising the remaining 50,000,000 Ugandan Shillings ( $13,500 USD) to help complete the purchase of the land for the orphanage school.
So far, we have already paid 28,000,000 UGX ($7,600 USD), and the total cost of the land is 78,000,000 UGX ($21,100 USD). Once we raise the remaining amount, we will finally own the land outright. This is very important for us because it will give the children a permanent and secure place for them to study.
We only have a few days to complete the payment, so any support you can give right now would make a huge difference. Whether it's a donation even if big or small it will have a bigger impact, sharing our campaign with your friends and family, or keeping us in your prayers it would mean the world to the children and the whole Jinja Children’s Home family.

Dear friends and family,
Please join us in prayer for our dear orphanage. The children need your prayers and support right now.
We are trusting God for:
Complete healing for the sick children may the Lord touch and restore them speedily.
School fees for all the secondary children that every fee will be paid on time so they don’t miss their exams these children will be starting their exams in a week time to end term one.
Completing the money needed for the school land that the full amount will be provided without delay.
Funds and resources to build the nursery section classes so the little ones can have proper learning spaces.
Replacing the iron sheets on the kitchen/cooking area for safety and to protect the food preparation place.
New beddings for the children that every child may have clean, warm, and comfortable bedding to sleep in.
These little ones have no one else but God and caring hearts like yours. If you can pray, or if the Lord leads you to support in any way, please let us know.

On this blessed Easter Sunday, we at Jinja Children’s Home wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Easter! May the joy of the resurrection, the hope it brings, and the love of God fill your hearts and homes with peace and blessings.
We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for your continued generosity and support. Thanks to your kindness, we have been able to provide:
Nutritious meals to feed our children every day

Today we are launching a campaign to buy the school land and build three permanent classrooms for our nursery children (ages 3 to 6 years).
The land we are currently renting is where the temporary classroom structures stand, and it's used by children from Primary one up to Primary seven. Purchasing this land will secure our school's future and the total cost 78,000,000 Ugandan Shillings ( $21,200 USD).
By God's grace, we have already raised 28,000,000 Ugandan Shillings ($7,600 USD). We are now urgently fundraising the remaining 50,000,000 Ugandan Shillings ($13,600 USD) to complete the land purchase.
In addition, building the permanent nursery section classrooms will cost 48,000,000 Ugandan Shillings ($13,000 USD). With your generous support, we will be able to buy the land and construct these essential classrooms for our youngest children, giving them a safe, stable, and proper learning environment.

I hope this finds you well. I am reaching out with a heartfelt update and an invitation to partner with us in a transformative step for the children at Jinja Children’s Home.
we embarked on a purposeful journey to provide lasting help to children in need. We recognized that the most effective way to secure their future is through consistent access to quality education. For years, we have supported our school going children by paying their school fees, supplying scholastic materials, and covering other essential needs. This has made a real difference, but as the number of vulnerable children seeking our help continues to grow, we faced a clear challenge: many schools demand timely payments, and when those are delayed even slightly children are sent home, disrupting their learning and adding emotional hardship. Additionally, the standard of education in some available schools often falls short of what our children deserve.
To overcome these barriers, expand our reach, and ensure every child in our care receives a stable, high-quality education without fear of interruption, we made the bold decision to establish our own free school. This allows us to enroll more children into our program, protect them from being chased away due to fees, deliver better educational standards, and ultimately help many more young lives thrive.
We began this exciting initiative by constructing temporary classroom structures. Praise God we have now successfully operated for a full year! The children are learning, growing, and experiencing the joy of consistent schooling in a nurturing environment.
Now, we are ready to take the next vital step: securing permanent facilities. We need to purchase dedicated land for the school and build three permanent classrooms specifically for our nursery section (children aged 3 to 6 years). These early years are foundational giving them a strong start in a safe, loving, and well-equipped space will set them up for lifelong success.
