Provides basic social services to most vulnerable people Akebulan Childcare and Development Foundation (ACCADF) is a non-profit organization based in Uganda. It was founded by Mutono Mugalya Roman in 2007. His work started when he adopted 10 unprotected children into his care. He took the initiative of providing for their needs. He provided shelter, food, education and health. Akebulan grew into a
registered non-profit aimed at advocating for the rights of vulnerable persons such as orphans, widows, and disabled persons. We address vulnerable persons and children by supporting programs that work to improve the quality of life of these people. Akebulan Childcare and Development Foundation also works to protect children and vulnerable people from discrimination in any form. We are committed to building self sustainable projects that improve the well-being of disadvantaged communities. Our mission is to restore hope for vulnerable persons and children in eastern Uganda by allowing them to be able to attain equal opportunity and sustainable socio-economic development through efficient provision of quality health service, education, social support, shelter, food, clothing, skills, clean water and child protection. Our goal is to establish a sustainable, transparent, accountable, and prosperous organization that promotes God-reliant, spirit filled, positive thinking by providing health services, quality education, and fundamental rights to unprotected people, while building self sustaining projects that benefit the lives of disadvantaged people in eastern Uganda.
