🌍 World Environment Day 2026 🌱

As we mark , we are reminded that climate change is not just an environmental issue, it is a human rights and social justice issue.

Women and girls with are among those most affected by climate-related disasters, extreme weather, droughts, floods, and displacement. Physical barriers, limited access to transportation, healthcare, information, and emergency services often leave them at greater risk during climate emergencies.

This World Environment Day, we call for that is inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the needs of all people. Women and girls with must not only be protected from the impacts of climate change but also empowered to contribute their knowledge, experiences, and leadership in building sustainable and resilient communities.

For many girls and women with spinal injuries, the internet is a lifeline —
but too often it becomes a place of harassment, threats, bullying, and abuse.

This 16 Days of Activism, we say NO to digital violence that silences, shames, and isolates.

🔥 Girls and women with spinal disabilities deserve safety, dignity, and respect online.
🔥 Their voices matter — and must be protected.

What we can do:
✔ Stand against ableist online harassment
✔ Support girls and young women with spinal disabilities in digital communities
✔ Advocate for accessible and secure online platforms
✔ Protect privacy and promote digital literacy

Violence online is real violence.
Together, let’s create a digital world where every woman can speak freely and safely.
