Meet Priscilla.
She is five years old. But unlike other children her age, Priscilla has never had a single moment to enjoy life.
Not one bite of solid food. Not one spoonful of porridge. Not one piece of soft fruit. Since the day she was born, Priscilla has survived only on milk. For five years. Her tiny body has never known the taste of bread, the joy of chewing, or the simple pleasure of sharing a meal.
She cannot hear. She cannot speak.
Her mother was only a teenager when she became pregnant. She is sad, confused, and deeply afraid. She has walked miles to local clinics, begging for answers. But each time, she was sent away. They could not find the cause. They had no solution to give.
So Priscilla's mother returned home—to a life of digging in other people's gardens just to survive. She earns less than $1 per day. She loves her daughter with everything she has, but poverty has left her powerless to help the child she prays for every single night.
Desperate and exhausted, she came to Gonza House Community. Not with money. Not with connections. But with one trembling request:
"Please. Is there anyone who can help my child see a real doctor?"
We have a chance to be the answer to that mother's prayer.
We are asking for your help to get Priscilla to a qualified doctor—someone who can run proper tests, find the root cause of her condition, and give her a chance at treatment. A chance to eat. A chance to hear her mother's voice. A chance to simply be a child.
For a family living on less than $1 a day, even a bus ticket to a doctor is impossible. But together, we can make the impossible possible.
Will you help Priscilla today?
We currently need $350 pay for transport, tests, and a specialist who can finally find out what’s wrong.
