10 Years of Love. 10 Years of Family. 🏡❤️

A decade ago, we stepped out in faith with a simple dream: to give children without families a place to call home. Today, we look back at a decade filled with laughter, tears of joy, and countless transformations.

We've watched little ones grow into confident young adults. We've built bonds that blood couldn't break. We’ve seen God’s faithfulness in every meal served, every school fee paid, and every hug shared.

This anniversary isn't just about us—it's about you. To everyone who has prayed, donated, volunteered, or cheered us on: Thank you. You are part of this family.

We shall be celebrating 10 years of Gonza House together with our annual Christmas party, and we'd love for you to be there! 🎉

As we celebrate the past, we’re dreaming even bigger for the future. Will you join us in writing the next chapter? 🥳✨

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share this sad news.

Our precious Priscilla has passed away. đź’”Just a few months ago, we asked for your help to get her to a doctor. Thanks to your generosity, she was finally seen by specialists. But despite all efforts, her little body could not hold on any longer.

To everyone who prayed, gave, and shared her story—thank you. You showed her mother that her child mattered. You carried them both with love.Priscilla is now at peace.

She is finally eating, hearing, and speaking in the presence of Jesus. 🕊️Right now, her mother is beyond heartbroken. Please continue to pray for her as she grieves.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes." Revelation 21:4

Thank you for loving Priscilla. Your kindness did not go to waste.

Thank you for all the support we have received for Priscilla! From our previous updates, you know that Priscilla has been able to see medical professionals, undergo tests, and receive a doctor's attention.

Our current goal is to meet Priscilla's current and ongoing need of a soft/liquid food diet. The doctor recommended meal plan is similar in consistency to baby food and contains all the nutrients needed to restore Priscilla to a healthy weight and to allow her to grow and mature healthily as well.

Ideally, we would love for Priscilla to find a monthly sponsor who would generously cover her dietary needs at $45/month. With regular sponsorship comes the opportunity to write letters and receive updates on how Priscilla and her mother are doing and it provides the financial security both mother and daughter need before they can look to long term goals.

After Priscilla's meal plan costs are covered, then we would like to help her mother, Teddy, obtain vocational training so she can have a skill to support herself and Priscilla. Teddy has expressed an interest in learning tailoring / sewing and this presents a good opportunity for her and her family in the future.

The third component of our goals for Priscilla and Teddy is to send Priscilla to a school for the deaf and mute so she can learn a means of communication that will greatly improve her quality of life. She is young to attend boarding school now. Priscilla also needs to have her meal plan covered in order to attend school because she cannot reasonably subsist on milk only and be with her mother continually if she is to go to school.

This is why we have put together this plan in three parts:

First, to find a sponsor for Priscilla's meals.

Second, to provide Teddy with the training she needs for a sustainable future.

And third, to provide Priscilla with an education and opportunity to learn communication skills.

If you are interested in sponsoring Priscilla's dietary needs of $45/month, we ask that you reach out to Gonza House Ministries directly through our page.

If you would like to donate any amount to help cover Priscilla's food until a regular sponsor can be found, we thank you for contributing to this GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/e0c4ed61d Priscilla currently has food covered until approximately mid July.

Any donations to the GoFundMe that exceed Priscilla's immediate need for nutrition will go directly towards Teddy's vocational training as a tailor and towards supplying her with a sewing machine and tools for the trade.

If you would like to help, but are unable to give financially at this time, we are blessed to have your support in prayer. It also helps to share this fundraiser with others and to tell your friends and family about Priscilla. We are grateful for everyone praying over her.

Thank you so much!

Uganda’s health teams have been phenomenal, turning a potential crisis into a manageable crawl. But the reality is, this virus hasn't been defeated; it's simply shifted its weight across the border, still creeping through communities in the DRC.
This isn't the time to relax our guard or our prayers. We need a relentless surge of intercession to s***f this out completely.

Please, keep our children, our hardworking staff, and their families covered in your prayers they are on the front lines of this daily battle.

🩸 Dignity. Confidence. Opportunity.

Thanks to a generous donation from a friend, we recently distributed reusable sanitary kits to over 30 young girls in our community.

For many of these girls, access to menstrual products and education has never been a given. Without them, they often miss school, feel ashamed, or even drop out entirely.

But these kits—designed to last for years—are more than just a practical solution. They’re a gateway to staying in school, breaking taboos, and opening honest conversations about menstruation. We’re teaching girls how to manage their periods with confidence, so no one has to feel silenced or ashamed.

The need is still great. There are many more girls waiting for the same gift of dignity.

If you feel called to help—whether by donating reusable kits, supporting our education efforts, or simply sharing this post—please reach out to us for more information. Let’s make sure every girl knows: her period does not have to be a barrier.

Happy New week and welcome to June!✨

As we step into a new month, we’re reflecting on God’s faithfulness and the joy that comes with new beginnings. Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness - Lamentations 3:22–23

May this month be filled with fresh joy, renewed hope, and the unending love of God for you and your family.
