Creating a Community that Advocates for Children's Rights

🕊️ MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE

It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that the Initiative on Children's Rights Advocacy (ICRA) extends its heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, teachers, and the entire community of King David Junior School, Ndejje, following the tragic road accident that claimed the precious lives of innocent children and staff members.

The loss of young lives full of dreams, hope, and potential is a painful reminder of the fragility of life. As an organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights and well-being of children, we stand in solidarity with all those grieving during this difficult moment.

We pray for God's comfort and strength upon the bereaved families, healing for those who were injured, and courage for the entire school community as they navigate this heartbreaking tragedy.

May the memories of the departed children and staff continue to inspire us to strengthen our commitment to child safety, protection, and the welfare of every child.

Today, Initiative on Children's Rights Advocacy (ICRA) proudly brought together local government leaders, faith leaders, and community stakeholders for Stakeholders Meeting III. Together, we strengthened our shared commitment to advancing and protecting children's rights through Music, Dance and Drama (MDD).

This gathering marked more than just a meeting—it marked the beginning of a united movement. Stakeholders endorsed our community implementation framework, received key programme documents, and voluntarily pledged to support ICRA's mission without expecting financial reward, driven by a shared passion for the well-being of every child.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who attended and committed to this vision. Your leadership, dedication, and spirit of volunteerism are laying the foundation for safer, stronger, and more empowered communities.
