Bunyoro Community Development centre (BUCODEC) is a Community Based initiative formed to address the root causes of poverty of the marginalized groups in society in Bunyoro Region, western parts of Uganda. The geographical area that defines Bunyoro sub-region follows the political boundaries of the districts of Hoima, Masindi, Kibaale and Buliisa. However the organizations’ work has started from H
oima Municipality in Mparo Division and will reach other parts of the region in the near future. BUCODEC promotes integrated and sustainable development approaches geared at improving social-economic livelihoods of the rural people by exploring individual skills, interests, talents and capacities to harness self reliance.
