AIMON YOUTH FOUNDATION has successfully completed the Advocacy Champions Training organized by RELON Uganda in Entebbe.

For 2 days, we strengthened our capacity in:
- Strategic Advocacy
- Coalition Building
- Evidence-based Advocacy for Refugee Rights
- Leadership

As a refugee-led organization in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, this training equips us to better represent and advance the voices of youth and women in policy and decision-making spaces.

We are taking these lessons back to our community to drive mindset shift, self-reliance, and dignity.

We recently participated in the 3-day intensive training “Knowing, Claiming, and Defending Refugee Rights” organized by RELON UGANDA for the Southwest Region.

It was a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow Refugee-Led Organization leaders, share experiences, and deepen our understanding of refugee rights, legal protection, and advocacy strategies.

Thank you to RELON UGANDA for creating this platform to strengthen our capacity and amplify the voices of refugee communities. We leave equipped and motivated to continue championing the rights of those we serve.

We are pleased to announce a strategic partnership between AIMON Youth Foundation and Robokids Africa to expand access to robotics and coding education for children in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement.

We will be offering weekly classes to children at our project of United Youth Soccer Academy utilizing starter robotics training kits provided by Robokids Africa.

This initiative aims to equip young learners with essential STEM skills, promoting creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and confidence in an underserved community. We believe this collaboration will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of leaders and innovators.
