In Kagadi District, Mpeefu Ya Sunday, Mugyenza ward, a young family has been blessed in an extraordinary yet challenging way. (22) and (18) welcomed into the world on 31st December, 2025—their very in C-Section peocedure; Namely: , and all Boys.

What should be a moment of pure joy has also come with overwhelming responsibility. at once is not only a miracle, but also a heavy for such a young family with very limited means.

Byaruhanga Patrick and Rosetee MacLean are currently living in a small -thatched house, struggling to provide even the most basic needs for their newborn babies. Their situation is fragile, and without support, the future feels uncertain.

BRIKOM CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION reached out to this family and offered immediate support with essential items including , soap, flour, flour, and other basic necessities. While this brought temporary relief, the needs of this family are far greater and ongoing.

Imagine the cost of , , and for three infants at the same time. Imagine the nights, the worry, and the silent prayers for help.

Honored to represent BRIKOM CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION at the 2026 Skills held in Kigali, Rwanda (23rd–26th, 2026).

Together with fellow grantees from across Africa, our team engaged in transformative learning sessions focused on strengthening the backbone of impactful nonprofits.

focus areas included:

🔹 Financial Management in NGOs – strengthening accountability, compliance, and transparent stewardship of donor resources.
🔹 Using Technology to Supercharge Fundraising – leveraging digital tools to expand reach and increase sustainability.
🔹 Navigating Your Network – building strategic partnerships that amplify mission and scale impact.
🔹 Communication & Social Media – telling powerful stories that mobilize communities and inspire action.
🔹 Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) – reinforcing safeguarding systems to protect the vulnerable populations we serve.
🔹 Resource Mobilisation – practical tips, tools, and principles to grow resilient organizations.

For us at Brikom Children’s Foundation, this workshop was not just about skills—it was about sharpening our leadership, strengthening governance, and deepening our commitment to children and youth in underserved communities.

We return energized, better equipped, and more intentional in delivering sustainable impact in education, health, and livelihood programs.

🧱📚 From Clay to Classrooms: A Story That Demands Attention 📚🧱

Meet Twinomujuni Innocent (11) and Atugonza Gilbert (14).

While many children their age are in classrooms, these two boys spend their days molding bricks from soil with their bare hands—not for play, but to earn money for school fees and basic scholastic materials.

Each brick tells a story: 👉 A story of resilience
👉 A story of responsibility far beyond their years
👉 A story of dreams nearly buried by poverty

They are not asking for charity.
They are asking for a chance to stay in school.

💡 Imagine the potential lost if these hands never hold books again.
💡 Imagine the impact if donors turned bricks into books.

At a time when education is the strongest tool to break the cycle of poverty, no child should have to choose between labor and learning.
