Communities in Hoima District, Kabaale Subcounty lost their land through compulsory acquisition for oil projects, with promises of fair and timely compensation. Instead, many families were displaced, livelihoods destroyed, and compensation delayed or inadequate.
Years later, many affected people are still waiting for justice. These delays have deepened poverty and suffering within the communities.
The attached flyers present the real experiences and realities of the project on the ground.
Justice delayed is justice denied.
