This boy feels his mother’s business pain. Our usual conversation became so emotional for me. Forgive my Acholi but this boy is intelligent and smart. Komagum and his family stay near our office and he is always at our office. We call him our Supervisor. I I wish we can team up and surprise his mother and support her business. She is an amazing woman.

Our Story

Friends of children circle is a new initiative that works towards a transformed world for vulnerable and families children in Uganda. The main purpose behind the existence of FOCC is our deep feeling of pity, sympathy and concern towards the needy, vulnerable millions of children around the world suffering from cases of abuse, neglect, violence, child labour, those on streets without shelter, and poor education among many others which persuaded and motivated us to work towards a transformed world for vulnerable children.

FOCC is currently operating in Gulu more specifically in one of the most vulnerable village called Omel-B, Paicho sub county which is still suffering from a high level of poverty as a result of the Lord Resistance Army war led by Joseph Kony in 2012 in northern Uganda.

We got report that no other organisation has reached this village inform of any support which meant that we are the first to extend our love and support towards this village in terms of development and we are privileged to do so given more donation and support through family support.

However, our vision is not limited to this specific village, we intend to operate in many vulnerable communities all over Uganda through regional coordinators with the same love and passion for the vision.
