Childero Bringing light to the most innocent victims of darkness in the Gulu region of Northern Uganda. We invite you into this journey!

Childero is called to serve orphans in Gulu, Uganda by showing Christ's love to the least of these. In the local dialect the word "dero" means light, so Childero signifies Child of Light. The organization financially sponsors children without one or both parents by providing funds and supplies for their educational, nutritional, and medical needs. Our vision is to serve the entire Gulu community b

y partnering with local Methodist churches and reliable vendors and clinics. Above all else our heart is to invest in the children spiritually by building real, loving relationships through discipleship and mentoring.
