Dear friends and partners,
Today we humbly ask you to stand with us in prayer for the work we are doing among the communities in Omoro District.
Over the past few years, God has opened doors for us to serve vulnerable families through initiatives that bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to our people. Through our community work we have been able to:

1. Open a nursery and primary school to give children access to education.
2. Establish a community medical center to provide basic healthcare services.
3. Launch a vocational training center empowering young people with practical skills since 2023.
4. Support vulnerable children through our child sponsorship program.
5. Implement various community development projects that uplift families and restore hope.

While we celebrate these milestones, the need around us is still great. Many families continue to struggle with poverty, limited access to services, and lack of opportunities for the next generation.
We therefore ask you to join us in prayer for:

1. Wisdom and strength for our team as we serve the community.
2. Provision and sustainability for the school, medical center, and programs.
3. Protection and favor over the children, families, and youth we support.
4. More partners and friends who will stand with us in transforming lives.

We believe that when people pray, God moves, and communities can be transformed.

Today, Juliet proudly represented Youth Development Organization Uganda at the Omoro District International Women’s Day celebrations held in Odek Subcounty, Omoro District.

This year’s global theme for International Women’s Day is “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls.” This theme calls on governments, organizations, and communities to take concrete steps to remove barriers that limit the rights, opportunities, and potential of women and girls.

At YDO Uganda, this message strongly aligns with our mission and ongoing programs. Through our work, we remain committed to empowering women, adolescent girls, and young people by promoting:
• Access to education for girls
• Health awareness and access to services
• Skills development and economic empowerment
• Community-led initiatives that promote gender equality

Our programs focus on creating safe spaces where women and girls can learn, grow, and lead change within their communities.

We are proud of Juliet for representing our organization and contributing to the important conversations on advancing women’s rights and opportunities in Omoro District.

Together, let us continue to stand for rights, justice, and meaningful action for all women and girls.

A SCHOOL STANDS — NOW A COMMUNITY MUST RISE
With gratitude to God and to friends of *Be A Number* and *Youth Development Organization Uganda*, we are happy to share that a primary school has been built to serve children from our community who for years had no access to education.
However, for this school to truly become a safe, sustainable, and life-changing place of learning, we humbly invite you to stand with us in the next phase.
🔹 A Well for Safe Drinking Water
Clean water will serve not only the pupils but the entire school community, protecting health and dignity.
🔹 Lightning Rod
For the safety of our children and staff, especially during the rainy seasons.
🔹 Solar Power System
To provide reliable lighting, improve learning conditions, and support school administration in a community without stable electricity.
🔹 Child Sponsorship
Many of the children who will join this school come from vulnerable families. Sponsoring a child means securing their education, meals, learning materials, and hope for a better future.

Thank You to the Bonners and Our Global Donors

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Bonners and our global donors for standing with Youth Development Organization Uganda throughout 2025. Your generosity and faith in our mission have made a lasting impact in our community.

Because of your support, we successfully built our own medical clinic and established a nursery and primary school. Over 15 children were sponsored to stay in school, 12 adolescent girls and young women were empowered through our tailoring skills program, and 8 boys were equipped with practical building skills for a better future.

Thank you for partnering with us to transform lives, restore hope, and build sustainable futures. We could not have done this without you.

Hello friends it's been a while since we last engaged!
Here's another milestone we've registered for our community of Adak in Omoro District. Continue praying for what God is doing in this community, but most importantly, we still need more support to see the kids from this community go to school. You can choose to partner with us by sponsoring a school seating desk at $60 and we need upto 200 seating desk for the learners.
We would like to so much in a SPECIAL WAY appreciate the Bonners family for supporting this community with this gift of a school to this community. We truly were in need of a school where the kids would study from.

Before children were walking long distances in order to attend school, while crossing rivers that as no bridges.
