World Bipolar Day was celebrated on March 30, 2026. A documentary called Brainstorm to raise awareness was shown at the National Theatre in Kampala and at Butabika hospital to raise awareness Members and well wishers of HSU gathered at Kati Kati later in the evening in to share more about the mental health condition. Thief guest Owek. Nuwa Wamala Nnyanzi said Bipolar condition is the appropriate name and not calling it a disorder. Keynote speaker Dr. Melanie Magoba share deep insights on the necessary care, beliefs, etc. Fr. Paul Kalenzi, SJ, HSU Founder and President Joseph Kahigiriza Atukunda, Mabala Rachel Jesse Matovu and Atwine James Kahigiriza from STUDIO CITY UG are appreciated for being generous towards the cause of HSU.It was lovely event. Appreciation to you all for supporting HSU in organising and most importantly for making time to attend the celebration 🎉.
