We dramatically improve the quality of life for womenwho have been affected by the war in Northern Uganda.All of our ladies are provided with advanced trainingin tailoring, finance, and personal development, and payed a monthly salary to create high quality and fashionable bags.Through product sales in the United States, our seamstresseswill become economically stable, pay for their children’s school fees,and grow as leaders within their families and communities.

We always call him Director Aludi. He has played a big role in supporting those in need through Caritas. P***A Lagum is a beneficiary of Caritas Uganda Gulu skilling program and now she is the best tailor in Gulu. Not only as a tailor but through WEND AFRICA she is the trainer of many girls who were like her.

For the best African shirt tailored, she has trained girls through Wend Africa Rotary Club of Rotary International global grant and and through club of of Encinitas and Gulu city.

In the picture She is measuring his Mentor to get a hand made shirt.

It is evident that skilling is the most sustainable program one can get.

We are proud of the success this skilling has brought to these girls. The cycle continues.
