Now that I am 40 and I wear skirts!
Now that i mentor little girls once just like me,
Do you still not love me!
I was a headache that looked as innocent
Free yet bound in the fantasy of freedom
I was myself, yet my father searched for me
Down to earth and yet they saw none of me
I was cool and I could be a good girl friend
I was taken, yes by myself,
In high school, I was my only dream, I loved!
I loved myself most, yet they called me attention seeker.
