We hosted the RDC of Apac, Andrew Onyuk, at Kijani Forestry today! After seeing the magic we’re working to green Northern Uganda, he didn't just give us a thumbs up—he signed up!
The RDC is officially joining the Kijani family, turning his 6.5 acres in Omoro District into a forestry powerhouse.

To get him started, we gifted him some Warburgia ugandensis seedlings—because every great forest starts with a single, medicinal step.
The takeaway? There is a massive amount of work happening in the field, and it’s time for our leaders to get their hands dirty!
Big thanks to RDC Onyuk for leading by example. Who’s joining him on the green side?

Lawii Rwodi, HRH David Onen Acana II plants Warburgia Ugandensis, a medicinal tree, at the Ker Kwaro Acholi palace on his 60th birthday on 24th March 2026. Kijani donated 120 seedlings of the endangered plant to be planted in each of the 57 Chief's homes in Acholi.

In an effort to retore Warburgia Ugandensis, Kijani has raised 10,000 seedlings ready for planting in its restoration farm.

At Kijani Forestry, our mission to restore landscapes starts with ensuring the safety of the people who make it possible.
Fire prevention and management are critical components of our operations. To ensure our team is prepared for any situation, we recently conducted a comprehensive fire extinguishing and safety training session for our staff.
Safety is paramount. By equipping our team with the right skills and tools—from understanding fire behavior to the hands-on use of extinguishers—we are building a more resilient and secure working environment.
A big shoutout to our dedicated staff for their active participation and commitment to workplace safety. Together, we are protecting our people, our projects, and our future.
