Fellowman Foundation came into existence because of awareness of the deplorable quality of life of our community members for the benefit of all the vulnerable members of our communities. The vulnerable members among other categories include: the poverty stricken, the disabled, the youth, the elderly, the women, HIV positive living together

with the families whose parents died of HIV-AIDS, the less informed members of our societies, the Orphans, the vulnerable children (OVC) and other marginalized groups. On realizing that the vulnerability and the other problems they face are due to socio-economic challenges that are peculiar to them and the erosion of social tenets, fellowman foundation came up with the ideology of working together toward bringing and reviving the hope of these several marginalized members of our communities. Fellowman foundation recognizes with concern that most vulnerable groups in our communities are discriminated against because of the social construction and other biases in society. These people’s efforts are hindered by lack of information, limited financial resources, poor co-ordination and communications as well as other varied factors. We also note with concern the adverse effects of environmental degradation caused by limited/low sensitization levels. This has caused such extreme weather conditions characterized by droughts and floods that together with the factors listed above combine to trap so many people in the vicious cycle of poverty. Fellowman foundation works with other international and national development partners to address the challenges above to bring fulfillment to our brothers and sisters to make the world a better place to live in. Our intentions are aligned at contributing towards the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)/ targets, National Development Plans (NDP), and aims and objectives of the National poverty Eradication Action plan (NPEAP) as well as other National and international Poverty Eradication Action Plans. We are a charity, non-profit making organization that believe in self sacrifice to bring hope to the disadvantaged. This we do through lobbying, appealing and requesting for the support of the professionals as well as the willing funders in a bid to push the traditional boundaries toward realization of this grand and noble cause. We cross the boundaries of race and color and religion and faith-our purpose is to enrich humanity; embracing each and every individual’s values that combine to make one great race-humanity. Fellowman foundation is headed by the President-Mr. He works with the Vice President-Ms Kabahubya Theopistar. The two above are deputized by Mr. Semanda Francis who doubles as the Coodinator. The three make the Board of Trustees(B.O.T). The 2nd most supreme body of fellowman foundation is the Board of Directors (B.O.D). It is comprised of the Chief Excutive Officer( the C.E.O.) and his/her deputy, the Secretary and two advisers. We are located in Kabarole District. Our Vision is “A well transformed and informed community that is self sustained socially and economically”, with the
