Our mission is to support parents/ families that are disabled, affected by HIV/AIDS, extreme poverty,diseases, wars, conflict, divorce and other tragedies through empowerment, child-education, social welfare, health wellness and life skill development with the knowledge and wisdom of the Bible so that they can grow in God's love and impact their communities. OUR OBJECTIVES: To raise awareness on
the importance of family stability. To empower parents/care givers with skills that will lead to sustainable finance security in their families. To restore loving and caring family relationships and bridge the gap between parents/care takers and their children. To empower children to safety and productivity. To save children from risks such as, going on the streets, early marriages, child labor, child trafficking and disease. To train parents/care giver in the proper and Godly parenting skills. To break the chain of abuse and family violence..HANAH Happy New is a preventive approach to save children from risks.The government through the police and other agencies has for long used different means including brutality and imprisonment to solve the streets children problem but have failed.Other NGOs have invested in building homes and providing other incentives to lure children off the streets but none has been successful. Many of the children who are picked from the streets end up going back to the same streets, the answer is simple: There is no place that can provide comfort, acceptance and support like a loving home. Most of the children who end up on streets came from homes where there are a relatives. We believe that the factors pushing these children to the streets can be handled and solved at home.such factors include: Unhealthy family relationships, trauma and grief that happen when parents die and the family is not helped to go through the tough situation, domestic violence, extreme poverty, ignorance in regard to productive farming methods etc. Hanah happy now seeks to address such challenges right at home which will not only make children safe but will also bring family and community transformation.
