VISION
A peaceful society where there is observance of equal rights and harmonious co existence for sustainable development in the Rwenzori Region, Albertine Grabben and other parts of Uganda. MISSION
To strengthen peace building processes of MOs through capacity building, networking, information sharing and joint lobbying and advocacy for sustainable peace and justice in the Rwenzori
region and and Albertine Grabben. GOAL
To contribute towards the creation of mechanisms for peace-building and conflict resolution in order to reduce conflicts in the Rwenzori region, Albertine Grabben and other parts of Uganda. RFPJ CORE BUSINESS
Engaging citizens, government, NGOs, Private sector and Development partners in peace building, justice and conflict resolution in the region and beyond. Lobbying and advocacy on issues of peace building and Justice
Research, documentation and information dissemination on issues of peace building and Justice. OBJECTIVES
Advocacy: RFPJ shall advocate with members .It shall also provide a voice for members on issues that is greater than the sum of parties. It shall recognizes that advocacy is a long-term issue that is achieved by sustained activity and press
Capacity Building: RFPJ shall play a leading role in strengthening the capacity of it Members, government agencies, NGOs, Private sector actors, and Development partners to foster peace and justice across different Societal divides in the Albertine Grabben and in Uganda
Coordination RFPJ shall coordinate the work of member organizations rather than plan their work. Members are required to share information on the activities with the secretariat so that they can highlight and share best practices with all members.
