After studying electricity last term, our Year 8 & 9 students built these colorful toys out of paper. They built a toy flower lamp, a toy washing machine, a toy evil emoji, and a toy fan.

The highlight of the toys were these paper buttons the kids built to simulate electrical switches. The buttons’ design was inspired by laptop keyboard keys.

The whole school enjoyed playing with the toys, and the little ones can not wait to learn how to build their own.

A special shout out to Solomon King Benge and his team at Fundi Bots who told our physics teacher about where to get the electronic components our kids used to build these toys.

Last weekend was a magical experience for many of the team at Sadhguru School - 16 of us volunteered to see 13 of our students through Step 7 of Inner Engineering Online. On Sunday, students who arrived at Sadhguru School ten years previously as our very first cohort of hesitant 5, 6 and 7 year olds, speaking no English, received initiation into Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya 🌸🌸🌸

A true and ecstatic 10th Birthday for Sadhguru School this May full 🌝 Moon - marking almost exactly ten years ago when Sadhguru launched the school (in June 2016), and deeply signifying our distance travelled, and the core of our existence as Sadhguru School: to nurture generations of conscious human beings. .....
The children went through steps 1-6 last April and waited for a suitable date for the in person completion, they were supported through the process by Sadhguru School teachers and Isha Foundation volunteers online.

The weekend was buzzing with activity from the amazing team of school volunteers who were involved in many roles from hall set up, to food preparation to serving three full candlelit meals, to washroom cleaning and ushering... 🪔🪔🪔

Last year, on the recommendation of one of our school volunteers, Timothy Kazooba, Sadhguru School took part in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition for the very first time.

The 2025 competition was record-breaking, attracting 53,434 entries from across the 56 member countries of the Commonwealth — a massive 53% increase from 2024.

Out of 53,434 entries from across the Commonwealth, our students earned:

2 Gold Awards

2 Silver Awards

2 Bronze Awards

1 Certificate of Participation (a half-hearted, last-minute entry driven by FOMO!)

This was the first time our students were writing essays exceeding 1,000 words — the minimum requirement was 1,500.

We couldn’t be more proud 🥹 🙏🏾
