🕊️ In Loving Memory of Chairman Ivan Rutuku Amooti🕯🙏🏼
Kalon Afrika Foundation joins the community of Karambi Nyansozi, Fort Portal City, Uganda in mourning the passing of Chairman Mr Ivan Rutuku Amooti.
Mr. Rutuku was a true pillar of strength in the community — a man known for his hard work, vision, and unwavering commitment to the development of Nyansozi. His dream was to make Nyansozi Village a model zone for progress and unity, and through his tireless efforts, he brought much of that vision to life.
Chairman Rutuku played a key role in the establishment of Kalon Afrika Foundation, helping us identify vulnerable families in need of support. His leadership, wisdom, and constant encouragement have guided many of our initiatives. He stood with us at every step — most recently during our stakeholders’ meeting and the launch of the ICT project at our Nyansozi offices.
We will deeply miss his strong leadership and wise counsel, but we remain committed to carrying forward his legacy — working together to build a better, more empowered community.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, his wife Akiiki and children, the people of Nyansozi, the local government, and the Kingdom of Tooro, for the loss of such a remarkable leader and statesman.
Mr. Rutuku will be laid to rest today at his ancestral home in Karambi Nyansozi, where our team will join the community to honor and celebrate his life.
