The KBUCEC is a registered club which was started in 2007 by students of Kisubi Brothers Centre of Uganda Martyrs University. This was a group of concerned students who were committed to raising awareness about environmental issues, and to reducing the negative environmental impact as individuals, as university community, and as citizens of the world. Beginning as a “Wild Life Club”, it was change
d to “Kisubi Brothers University Environment Club (KBUCEC)” in 2011. The members of Kisubi Brothers University College Environmental Club (KBUCEC) wish by their attitudes and activities to;
1. Foster a culture of love for nature and respect for all creations.
2. Cultivate a desire for environmental conservation among the students of this university and beyond.
3. Promote appreciation and scientific study of the country’s wildlife and the environment. The club registered more than thirty (30) members in the last academic year. The current leadership team:
