It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of a truly remarkable soul. We mourn the loss of our beloved mama Anne.
For many years, Mama Anne was more than just a friend and colleague to Hope for Joy Foundation Uganda; she was a beloved mother figure to us all and a generous sponsor to countless orphans and needy children across Uganda. She was a servant-hearted leader, a source of strength, and a tireless advocate for the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of so many lives.
Mama Anne’s love knew no bounds, her caring spirit touched the lives of so many, providing not just financial support but also immeasurable warmth, guidance, hope and helping them to know Christ as their personal savior.
She believed in the potential of every child and dedicated herself to nurturing their dreams. Her impact on our community, and especially on the children she championed, is immeasurable and will be felt for generations to come.
With unwavering faith and compassion, mama Anne lived out the love of Christ in every action. Whether comforting the hurting, feeding the hungry, or praying with the brokenhearted, she embodied the mission of our foundation in the most beautiful way.
We are eternally grateful for the incredible work Mama Anne did. Her legacy and dedication to the well-being of others will not be forgotten and it will live on in every smile, every life touched and every soul uplifted by her great work. She showed us all what it truly means to give selflessly, love unconditionally and be a good disciple of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Steve and your entire family, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this incredibly difficult time. We honor mama Anne's memory by continuing with the work she was so deeply committed to-bringing Hope for Joy where it is needed most. You will truly be missed mama and your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts. ❤️
