Youthplus Uganda Youth-led solutions strengthening community systems to expand access to trusted development, health information and leadership opportunities.

Youth Plus Policy Network Uganda (Youthplus) is a youth-led organization working to strengthen community systems that support the health, well-being, and leadership of adolescents and young people. Through community engagement, digital platforms, and policy advocacy, Youthplus develops practical solutions that connect young people with trusted health information, prevention tools, and youth-friendly services. Our flagship initiative, the DEEPROOTS model, is a hybrid community and digital youth health system that operates through community information kiosks, trained Peer Community Advisors, mobile outreach, and digital platforms. The model creates safe and trusted entry points where adolescents and young people can access information, ask questions, and receive referrals to services. Youthplus also works with community leaders, health providers, and national stakeholders to strengthen youth-focused policies and promote supportive environments for young people. Our work focuses on improving access to HIV prevention information, strengthening youth leadership, challenging harmful social norms, and expanding community-based solutions that help adolescents and young people make informed decisions about their health and futures.

Today, we are proud to introduce the DEEPROOTS Community Wellness Kiosks

These kiosks are more than structures. They are safe, friendly spaces where young people and community members can access trusted health information, HIV prevention services, referrals, and support without fear or judgment.

Whether you have questions about HIV, PrEP, PEP, HIV self-testing, condoms, sexual and reproductive health, or simply need someone to guide you to the right services, our Community Wellness Kiosks are here for you.

Our trained Peer Community Advisors are ready to listen, provide accurate information, and connect you to the care you need. Every conversation is treated with respect, dignity, and confidentiality.

This is our commitment to bringing health information and services closer to the people because prevention starts with access, trust, and community.

The DEEPROOTS Community Wellness Kiosks are coming to communities across the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area.

Together, we are building healthier communities where every young person has the knowledge, confidence, and support to make informed choices.

Our Peer Community Advisors (PCAs) continue to build the skills and knowledge needed to support their communities with accurate HIV prevention information and services.

Through the DEEPROOTS “Got You Bro” initiative, young leaders are stepping forward to promote positive masculinity, responsible choices, and healthier communities.

Together, we are strengthening community-led HIV prevention.
