Youth Can Congress is a community based organization established in 2011 to carry on long life goals to inspire active citizens build stronger communities, and create lasting change at local and national level.The organization oversees planning for a better future of local communities, as well as a range of domestic programs. The organization calls kisubi-kawuku home and is headquartered just a fe
w blocks from the future site of our training center. The organization is governored by a volunteer board of directors chaired by a civic leader Bunoga Abdurahman Abdunaasir Elevanah. We are a community based organization inspiring youth to look for their own ideas and solutions and to give real hope to those feeling left behind
VISION
Encouraging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development through serving, contributing and benefiting from all programs addressed to youth in Uganda
MISSION
To hold unto patriotism and nationalism as the source of reflection through which the organization shall provide youth with inventive, innovative and transformation skills through training and career guidance sessions, support and mentoring to enable youth turn their acquired skills, knowledge, talents and life experiences into career progress, effective empowerment, lucrative business and fulfilling lives based on proven principles

WE NEVER GIVE UP
YCC says that youth have to be known for certain qualities. We have to believe that all people have the right to healthy living, freedom and pursuit of happiness. These are all components of the youth spirit but there's one other that above all, defines us as a sect of the population, we never give up
WE INSPIRE OTHERS TO DREAM
The tram of civic leaders will chronicle the journey of these virtuals. We will root for them .We will stand with them.They will unite our nation and inspire others to dream again. This team will be Uganda's team unlike any other before

OUR STORY
Youth Can Congress is guided by a core belief that young people binded by patriotic sentiments and nationalism, working together can change history. Our vision is to inspire and encourage young people to take action, engage themselves to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development and empower them to change their communities and nation for better and connect them so that they can achieve more together than they can alone
We were founded by young people, so when we seek change and transformation, we do it by bringing the young people together. We are community organisers for the service of the community and led by the community. We encourage young people to be blue prints for change in their communities and develop leaders through workshops, networking and experience to grow a generation of young trailblazers . This is through community based education, mentoring, and employment readiness programs to help them develop skills and strengthen ties to family and community
OUR PURPOSE
To organise the youth to come together to be agents of change in their communities and meet the day to day social economic hardships
OUR AIM
To create patriotic sentiments, nationalism and educate the concepts of Uganda's promise and national creed
OUR OBJECTIVES
1. To promote unity among the youth and emphasize the spirit of sharing, love and respect
2. To prepare the youth through patriotic sentiments and advice for their future prospects and grow into responsible citizens
3.To organise the youth in camps, cultural societies and festivals with a view of putting the youth's foundation constructively and purposeful
4. Youth sensitization through counseling, mentoring, training and conservation of resources
5. To create the spirit of hardworking among youth
6. To develop the youth through serving, contributing and benefiting from all programs addressed to youth in Uganda
7. To encourage youth to get involved in community development services
MEMBERSHIP OF YOUTH CAN CONGRESS
It is an open organization found in Uganda where all activities are primarily for the benefit of youth and community. Individually, a person can also become a member so long as he/ she professes to youth development and empowerment. The founder members of YCC shall indefinitely remain members of the organization
