At CU Primary School in Mukono District, one of the beneficiaries proudly showcased the products she learned to make, an inspiring reflection of the success of the Training of Trainers program. Foundation, together with and , successfully completed this hands-on initiative designed to equip teachers with sustainable skills.

After mastering hand-sewn reusable sanitary pads, the teachers were introduced to the school’s previously unused tailoring machine. Our team trained them step-by-step: threading, understanding machine parts, peddling, and practical stitching.

To build confidence before sewing pads on the machine, teachers practiced by making a variety of useful items including tote bags, aprons, and handbags, products they can use in daily school activities and later produce for income generation.

This program not only empowers teachers to pass on essential skills to their pupils but also opens doors for entrepreneurship, creativity, and sustainable livelihoods.

Soon, young women will once again be trained here to become skilled tailors. ⭐️
