Training Mothers' as Fuel Savers

The hardest burden falls on women and children (especially girls) in gathering / using cooking fuel (firewood / charcoal) at home.

FOFO in all efforts to promote a sustainable alternative to traditional stoves in Uganda that cause respiratory illnesses, raised costs of charcoal conducted and trained a one day training for the Mother's Union Club of St. Andrews, Kitagobwa Church of Uganda inNangabo Parish, Kasangati Town Council in all basics and skills of making and using the Two pot rocket Lorena mud stove to help them become more efficient in adopting household usage of fuel energy saving stoves in homes due to the current charcoal raised costs in Uganda.
As Friends of Family (FOFO) we shall create all awareness of not to destroy, but save our environment

Nearly one in five school going children don't have access to electricity, meaning that children have limited time to read their homework upon reaching Home.

With international and domestic support combined from Global Youth - Denmark, , 80 Little Sun Solar lamps where donated to (80) students and parents in Kitegomba, Nangabo, Mawule, Gita / Nabutaka in Kasangati Town Council, Wakisodistri t to help out the unpriveledged school going kids emerge from the darkness and show the World how important education and how the Little Sun solar lamp can make a difference. Thanks for the support.
